Resposive Emails

Desktop screenshot Jun 2015 Mobile screenshot Jun 2015

As part of Camelot's National Lottery rebranding project I was the sole developer for re-coding all customer facing emails. I had coded the new emails to work in 72 clients and are responsive in devices that support it (marked ‘Responsive’ within the list below). I ensured img were responsive (looked sharp on higher resolution devices), but had minimum file size to ensure the loading of img were quick and not bandwidth intensive. In addition to this, I also created an email production tool for use by non-technical users to enforce design consistency, mark-up validation and to ease the work load for colleagues in my team. Experienced using Infor and Litmus.

jQuery TabaKordion

Desktop screenshot Dec 2014 Tablet screenshot Dec 2014 Mobile screenshot Dec 2014

jQuery Accessible Tabs, Accordion and Show/Hide regions - This started of as a simple accordion for my website, which was accessible to a degree. The problem was that I was unable to find an accessible accordion that was 100% accessible and that did not require a large library, other than jQuery, for it to work. I then decided to build my own and as accordions, tabs and show/hide regions are almost identical in terms of behaviour; I've built a one for all solution. This plugin has been built to satisfy, by default, all requirements listed within the W3C WAI-ARIA 1.0 Authoring Practices for tabs, accordions and show/hide regions. The plugin requires minimal semantic HTML mark-up and works very well even without styling. The plugin has been written with the intention of satisfying accessibility requirements to the highest level.
